Are you a Medicare Agency or Infusion Company looking for dependable nurses to visit your patients? Recruiting and retaining quality nurses can prove to be a difficult process. IOC
has been staffing home care nurses for over 4 years. In the last 4 years we have seen over 2,000 patients for local Medicare Agencies.
We understand each agency has specific procedures and custom paperwork. We train our nurses to meet your specific needs and protocol. Our nurses are bonded and insured
through Interim HealthCare. We verify all credentials are in good standing and the nurse possesses the skill level required to work independently in the field.
Our nurses are proficient in OASIS C and receive on going training in Chronic Disease Management Programs such as: CHF, COPD and Diabetes. Our nurses are experienced in
Wound Care, Including Wound Vac Therapy, and Diet Management. We also have qualified infusion nurses experienced in IVIG, Antibiotics, and Factor.
School Nurse Direct Care Services
We provide professional nurses in the classroom for students requiring assistance with tube feedings, tracheostomy, and suctioning care. Our nurses are BCLS accredited. They also have finger
printing and criminal background checks completed as required by federal/state law. These services are billed at an hourly rate for only the hours a nurse is actually working with a student.
There are no charges for services when school is not in session and vacation/holiday pay is not billed.
School Nurse Administrative Services:
Our agency has successfully reduced the cost of an in-house “school nurse” by over 50% on an annual basis. Most districts have a paperwork requirement for parents wishing to receive medical
intervention for their student during the day and during after school activities. This paperwork is often referred to as a Plan of Care. They typically include a form for the Administration
of Medication, Allergy, Allergy/Asthma, Diabetes and Seizure Care. Our nurses review each of these forms and verify parent/physician signature, review expectation/orders for the intervention
and prepare a Plan of Care poster to be returned to the individual school for posting. This poster serves to identify the student and their needs in a medical emergency while outlining staff
expectations for intervention. We prepare almost 400 documents for a district. We also teach and train their staff; teachers, paraprofessionals and bus drivers at a cost of approximately
$40,000 a year. Compare the cost of our service to the typical school nurse salary of $75,000 + with benefits.
